We don’t discuss diagnosis; we help creating prognosis.

After listening their son’s diagnosis, the parents say: “OK, this is something I know, but what can I do for him/her?"
We believe that every child, with intellectual, motor or sensory disability or not, has potentials. However, children aren’t born with these abilities. We have to provide and create oportunities so they can be developed. The brain is our main point. It’s the root of the problem. All the rest are symptoms that something is wrong with it or that it needs to be organized.

It’s important to draw attention to the fact that parents and family play the main role as treatment leaders. They are the only ones capable of stimulating and rehabilitating their children, devoting many hours, with no charge, to see them getting better.

Our role, as experts in an institution that has been attending around 30.000 patients for
50 years in Brazil and other countries, is to help you aswering the question: “So what
can I do for him/her?”

“Parents are not a problem for brain-injured children, they represent a solution”.
